Australian Interior Design Awards 2011 澳大利亚室内设计大奖2011 Australian design practice Mim Design has outdone themselves when creating the interiors of this astounding home. Located in Australia, the RG Residence captures glimpses of glamour in a collection of beautiful, bright spaces. From the entry, silver and grey seem to be the primary accent colours, while softer and lighter colours were used as background. Reflective surfaces in the hallway make it appear larger and more imposing and lead the way to the entertaining spaces of the residence. Large floor-to-ceiling windows ensure the necessary natural light while offering views of the surrounding garden. The “diverse creative practice specializing in the design of interior environment“, Mim Design captured fun elements and elegant shapes in this home. Sophisticated lines were merged with soft detailing to express a need for elegant design. The study area deepens the idea of relaxation and comfort: a dark bookcase accentuates the use of grey on the wall, but also facilitates the use of colourful accents.
