3ds Max 2011is scheduled to ship on or after April 7, 2010! Users on currentsubscription will be able to download directly from their subscriptioncenter. Not current? Contact Motion Media to add or renew yoursubscription to 3ds Max!
1. – Slate Material Editor:
A node based material editor that helps significantly improve workflowand productivity for artists creating and editing complex materialnetworks.
2. Quicksilver Hardware Renderer:
Create high-fidelity pre-visualizations, animatics, and games-relatedmarketing materials in less time with Quicksilver,an innovative newhardware renderer that helps produce higher-quality images atincredible speeds.
3. Local edits to containers:
Collaborate more efficiently with significantly enhanced workflows forContainers that enable users to layer local edits non-destructively ontop of referenced content.
4. Accelerate modeling and texturing tasks: with new tools that extend the Graphite modeling and Viewport Canvas toolsets:
A revised toolset for 3D painting and editing textures withinthe viewport; the ability to paint with object brushes to creategeometry within a scene; a new brush interface for editing UVWcoordinates; and an interactive tool for extending edge loops.
5. Viewport display of 3ds Max materials:
