One＆Only海洋俱乐部The One&Only Ocean Club 项目地址：天堂岛，巴哈马 Paradise Island, Bahamas
这个复杂的度假胜地于2002年成为One＆Only海洋俱乐部，但其历史更悠久。亨廷顿哈特福德二世（后来的A＆P继承人，以及负责将该岛的名称从霍格岛改名为天堂岛的人）于1962年购买了该物业，以创建一个拥有52间客房的酒店和高尔夫球场 - 海洋俱乐部。时髦的物业吸引了皇室成员，以及着名的Zsa Zsa Gabor和William Randolph Hearst。 巴哈马在2016年10月遭遇飓风袭击，度假村未能幸免遭到了严重的破坏。Jeffrey Beers International受邀负责One&Only度假村Hartford Wing的重建与升级改造。
This sophisticated resort became One&Only Ocean Club in 2002, but its history goes further back. Huntington Hartford II (the late A&P heir, and the man responsible for changing the island's name from Hog Island to Paradise Island) bought the property in 1962 to create a 52-room hotel and golf course -- Ocean Club. The swanky property attracted members of royalty, and notable names like Zsa Zsa Gabor and William Randolph Hearst. In October 2016, a hurricane swept across Paradise Island in the Bahamas, destroying the club heavily. Jeffrey Beers International was invited to redesign One&Only’s Hartford Wing.
重塑Hartford Wing这一经典历史建筑是一项荣誉。因此，JBI在设计时一直关注如何在保留起历史感的同时，能体现度假村的内涵，打造私密与舒适的空间，并融合周边的自然环境。
It was a privilege to renovate the historic Hartford wing. Therefore, JBI desired to ensure the spirit of the resort, which was once a private and comfort estate, retained its rich history while also providing a fresh palette with hues taken from the natural surroundings.
JBI在保留原有建筑风格和整体形象的基础上，将每间客房额外增加了九英尺（的宽度）,并将建筑正面改造成正面落地窗让房间的海景最大化地延伸。无边际露天泳池旁点缀着休闲凉亭和宽大的躺椅。浪漫的开放花园，通过喷泉、灯笼、绿植和凉亭，被赋予了浓厚的英式乡村情调，给住客带来私密与惬意的体验。
Without compromising the original character and feel of the building, JBI were able to add 9' to the guestrooms. The facade was completely opened up with new wall-to-wall/floor-to-ceiling glass doors to maximize the stunning ocean views. The sleek new infinity pool is dotted with floating cabanas and lavish daybeds. The romantic open-spaced Garden, are identified as a classic English country yard by decorated with fountain, lanterns, landscaping and trellises, bringing an intimate and private atmosphere to hotel guests.
客房与乡村别墅加入了现代的元素，简洁的线条，奢华的图案。JBI有意选取了奢华但是不会隆重的材料，比如实木和暖色调的石头，来打造轻松舒适的氛围。家具、饰品、和定制灯具也都按照居家的风格来选取，让客户感觉在家一般的自在。 为了把大航海风格融入每一个空间，客房采用胡桃木天花板配以白色的木质横梁，再用定制的玻璃吊灯用铜制的绳索从墙上吊下来。让整个房间看上去如同是船上的休息室。 Guestrooms and cottages are also designed with modern, clean lines and luxurious textures. JBI purposely selected luxurious but not imposing materials, such as rich woods and warm-toned stone, to create a relaxed atmosphere. The furniture, case goods, and tailored lighting were also designed with a residential aesthetic to make guests truly feel at home. In order to bring a nautical twist into each space, JBI designed the Walnut plank ceilings with white wood cross-beams and custom glass pendant lights hung from cast bronze rope give the rooms the feel of a ship's sleeping quarters.
洗手间的墙面和地面都采用浅木纹大理石，配上比安科大理石洗手台，再将岛式的大理石浴缸置于胡桃木背景墙前面。让整个洗手间显得整洁静谧。 The bathrooms have a very serene quality to them. Both the walls and floors are done in Whitewood marble, with Bianco Dolomite marble vanities, and floating oval bathtubs set in front of walnut accent walls.
重建后的One＆Only海洋俱乐部将古典殖民时期的建筑与优雅的室内装饰相结合，创造出魅力，戏剧性和高雅气质，同时又不牺牲传统度假村的温馨感受。酒店成功融合了这些经典风格与现代精致的装饰，这也让天堂岛成了电影“皇家赌场”的开幕取景地（丹尼尔克雷格扮演的詹姆斯邦德在这里留下一段浪漫的插曲）。 The upgraded One&Only Ocean Club marries classical colonial architecture with elegant interiors to create glamour, drama, and sophistication without sacrificing the welcoming warmth of a traditional resort.The hotel successfully blends these classic influences with modern, sophisticated decor; it's not surprising that the opening scenes of Casino Royale where shot here (James Bond, played by Daniel Craig, stayed here for a romantic interlude).
Jeffrey Beers International 成立于1986年，总部位于纽约。公司完成了包括酒店、高端公寓、餐饮、夜总会、商业空间、豪宅等领域的众多项目，服务于柯兹纳、万豪、喜达屋、丽兹卡尔顿、希尔顿、四季、美高梅国际等高端客户，在国际屡获殊荣； JBI 曾获得三次金钥匙奖，以表彰其杰出的设计，另外还曾获得《Contract》杂志的室内设计奖和“年度最佳”室内设计奖。2000 年，Jeffrey 被《Hospitality Design》杂志纳入酒店设计白金团体，以表彰他对设计界的贡献。 JBI近年在中国陆续开拓高端项目，设计完成了成都华尔道夫酒店的行政餐厅麒麟扒房，并与HBA强强联手打造了七星级旅游项目三亚亚特兰蒂斯酒店。根据业务发展需要，JBI于2018年成立Jeffrey BeersInternational中国公司，公司位于深圳市南山区，力求在中国市场打造更多国际一流的设计作品。
