Studio AO/JN has created an oasis of sophisticated contemporary design in a 100-year-old house in the heart of Stockholm. Calm, almost monochrome scheme successfully emphasizes the magnificence of expensive noble materials and the refinement of every piece of decor that was selected with excellent taste. The classic beauty of the spaces is accentuated by laconic moldings and stucco, while contemporary art objects perfectly complete the conceived image。

When Scandinavian minimalism is intertwined with elements of French design in a 19th century building, the result is an incredibly elegant and stylish home. This apartment in the center of Stockholm were designed according to the latest trends in modern Scandinavian design, but a touch of French decor added elegance and charm to the interiors.

This elegant modern home in Sweden looks calm and serene – the designers of AO/JN studio did not use complex color combinations or flashy solutions. The main highlight of such a design is in elegant forms, sophisticated furniture and the beauty of natural materials – in this case, light marble and natural wood. The interiors are almost monochrome, but thanks to the classic wall decor and trendy modern furniture, it looks noble and expensive.
