在古都的脉络中，构建当代身心的栖所

“舍南舍北”项目根植于十三朝古都洛阳。其核心命题在于：如何在深厚的历史文脉中，创造一个既具当代精神，又能提供深度疗愈的居住空间。我们的设计回应，并非具象地模仿历史，而是抽象地提取其内核——一种“于闹市中取静”的东方智慧，并将其转化为可被感知的空间诗学。

The “She Nan She Bei” project is situated in Luoyang, an ancient capital of thirteen dynasties. The central design challenge was to create a dwelling that embodies contemporary spirit and offers profound restoration within a rich historical context. Our response avoids literal historical mimicry. Instead, it distills an essential Eastern philosophy — “finding tranquility within the bustling city” — and translates it into a perceptible spatial poetry.

核心理念：设计作为“修复”媒介

Core Concept: Design as a Medium for “Repair”

项目面临7间无自然采光的“暗房”。我们摒弃常规补救，转而采取主动的“空间疗愈”策略：为每间暗房植入一个独立的枯山水庭院。这构建了一个 “光与心的容器”。素白高墙成为光的画布，将直射日光转化为柔和、流动的漫射光。物理的“缺陷”由此逆转为体验的“焦点”，塑造出内向、冥想的静谧氛围。

The project presented seven interior rooms with no natural light (“dark rooms”). Rejecting conventional remedies, we adopted an active “spatial healing” strategy: implanting a dedicated karesansui (dry landscape) courtyard into each. This created a “vessel for light and mind.” A plain white wall acts as a canvas, transforming direct sunlight into soft, kinetic, diffused illumination. Thus, a physical “flaw” was inverted into an experiential “focus,” cultivating an introverted, meditative silence.

材质与触觉：构建宁静的基石

Materiality and Haptics: The Foundation of Serenity

空间气质由接触的瞬间奠定。我们全线采用微水泥、原木、亚麻等原生材料。它们纹理质朴，触感温润，共同形成一套温和的感官界面。当访客赤足踏上地面，或手掌轻抚家具时，材质本身便在传递安定与安全的信号。设计在此退居幕后，让材料与身体直接对话，以此降低环境负荷，促进深层放松。

The space’s character is established upon contact. We employed raw, breathable materials — micro-cement, solid wood, linen. Their honest textures and warm tactility form a gentle sensory interface. As visitors feel the floor underfoot or touch the furniture, the materials themselves communicate calm and security. Here, design recedes, allowing a direct dialogue between material and body, thereby reducing environmental stress and enabling deep relaxation.

“空”的哲学：为人的活动留白

The Philosophy of “Emptiness”: Leaving Room for Human Activity

我们深信，真正的奢侈是空间与精神的余裕。设计因此极致践行“减”与“藏”。所有功能构件被精巧地隐入墙体，家具被精简至必需，并采用低矮形态确保视线通透。这种“空”是一种积极的留白，它为入住者的活动、情绪与想象力腾出了物理与心理的双重空间，让“人”成为空间叙事的主角。

We believe true luxury lies in spatial and mental margin. The design thus rigorously practices “reduction” and “concealment.” All functional elements are meticulously integrated into walls. Furniture is minimized to essentials, with low-profile forms ensuring visual permeability. This “emptiness” is an active void. It makes room — both physical and psychological — for the occupant’s movements, moods, and imagination, allowing the “human” to become the protagonist of the spatial narrative.

结论：一次当代的“中隐”实践

Conclusion: A Contemporary Practice of “Zhong Yin”

最终，“舍南舍北”呈现为一个温暖的“背景板”。它不试图与辉煌的历史前景竞争，而是以谦逊、内省的当代语言，构建一个宁静的基底。在这里，历史成为窗外流动的风景，而室内生活则聚焦于当下的、内在的安宁。本项目是一次关于“中隐”生活的空间转译，它证明，通过精准的设计，我们可以在都市中重塑那份诗意的栖居可能。

Ultimately, “She Nan She Bei” presents itself as a warm “backdrop.” It does not compete with the glorious historical foreground. Instead, through humble, introspective contemporary language, it constructs a tranquil foundation. Here, history becomes a flowing landscape outside the window, while interior life focuses on present, inner peace. This project is a spatial translation of the “Zhong Yin” (hermitage within the city) lifestyle. It proves that through precise design, we can reconstruct the poetic possibility of dwelling, even within the urban context.
