時

人與人之間舒適的距離，也許是需要刻意維持的。

快速忙碌生活的抽離，留給居住者自我心靈歇緩的沉澱空間。

快與慢的時間差經由玄關界定外與內，放下世事紛爭、風塵擾攘，讓居住者在自我的維度，寧靜而內斂，剛毅而溫厚的心靈層次。

Time

The comfortable distance between people may need to be deliberately maintained.

The withdrawal of fast and busy life leaves the residents with a settling space to rest their souls.

The time difference between fast and slow defines the outside and the inside through the porch, letting go of the worldly disputes and dust, allowing the residents to have a quiet and restrained, resolute and gentle spiritual level in their own dimension.

轉化

由內而外的斜頂天花，弱化原始大樑結構，轉化為空間特色，傾斜的維度，穿梭廊道之間，拉近空間與空間的距離。斜頂天花的終點，伴隨半高刻度的觀景吧檯，與地坪的分界，隔開入戶隨之而來的衝擊，賦予回歸自我的想像空間。量體斷開、接續的空間手法，讓視覺穿透，讓氣息流動，有著界定的空間，卻沒有彼此的界線。

Transformation

The sloping ceiling from the inside to the outside weakens the original girder structure and transforms it into spatial features, sloping dimensions, shuttling between corridors and shortening the distance between spaces. The end point of the sloping ceiling, along with the half-height scale viewing bar, and the dividing line between the terrace, separates the impact of entering the house and gives the imagination space to return to oneself. The spatial technique of measuring and disconnecting the body allows vision to penetrate and breath to flow. There is a defined space, but there is no boundary between them.

質

空間由點、線、面、量體之間縱橫鑲崁，比例分割的收放，元素之間的堆砌，以石材為基礎，木質為輔，木石之間錯縱堆疊，引入沉著穩重的空間感觸，肌理的真實感受，厚實的質感沉澱室內氛圍。

Quality

The space is embedded vertically and horizontally between points, lines, planes and measuring bodies, the proportion is controlled, and the elements are piled up. Stone is used as the foundation, wood is used as the supplement, and wood and stone are stacked vertically and horizontally. It introduces a sedate feeling of space, real feeling of texture, and thick texture to precipitate the indoor atmosphere.
